Synopsis

​ Six friends from the group “C'est pierre sous terre” (6 feet under the grave) made a promise in the 90s. Thirty years later, will Sophia, Gaetan, Mathilde and Martine be able to keep their promise?

Program Note

​ A car carrying a quartet of band members ventures toward an undisclosed destination. They halt the vehicle by the roadside and retrieve a box previously buried deep within the mountains. Within lies an LP album they released long ago. The movie's title, Six Feet Under offers a clue to their intended endpoint. Their idiosyncratic and poignant commemoration unfolds in a manner both unpredictable and heartrending. The band's unwavering commitment to honoring a past promise also prompts speculation about the memories held within the album, undoubtedly intertwined with their collective history. (Cho Hyunna)

His previous film, Inheritance has been selected at more than 60 international festivals and has received 58 awards to date.
