Performance Info

An explosive rock performance, sensual tango—a collaboration between two seemingly incompatible genres. Rising rookie rock band ‘Reflex’ and ‘Salon de Oh Soo-kyung,’ showcasing mature and sensual tango music, will meet the audience on the Uirimji stage. Also, a film music concert by Korea’s master film music director Han Jae-kwon and his band awaits the audience.

    • Composed of Jo Kyuhyun (vocal & guitar), Hong Seokwon (guitar), Byun Hyungwoo (bass), and Shin Dongyeon (drums), Reflex pursues rock music expressed within bold melodies. With honest and direct lyrics, melodic compositions, powerful sound, and delicate emotions woven in, they showcase a unique musical identity only they can deliver on the Uirimji stage.

    • A special stage by film music composer Han Jae-kwon that will rekindle the emotions of movies through music.
    • Since his debut in 1997, Han Jae-kwon has been actively composing notable film scores such as *Silmido* and *Public Enemy* both domestically and internationally. This stage offers a live performance of his film music. By rearranging orchestration-focused scores into a 10-member band ensemble, the music will resonate through the scenic Uirimji, presenting a live performance fitting for the unique atmosphere of the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival.

    • Salon de Oh Soo-kyung
    • ‘Salon de Oh Soo-kyung’ is a crossover ensemble led by pianist Oh Soo-kyung, performing tango, world music, and jazz.
    • Oh Soo-kyung, known as the “super session” keyboardist for numerous renowned indie musicians, has shown diverse activity through the female duo ‘1984’ and solo albums. Now performing under ‘Salon de Oh Soo-kyung,’ composed of piano, cello, violin, and contrabass, she presents a new image through classical and tango music.
