Film, Music, and Directors

Ennio Morricone, the legend of 20th-century film music, passed away on July 6th at the age of 92.

The Jecheon International Music & Film Festival has prepared a memorial concert to honor Maestro Ennio Morricone, who left behind hundreds of film soundtracks including those for films such as The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, Once Upon a Time in America, The Mission, Cinema Paradiso, Love Affair, and The Hateful Eight.

Through this performance, where top musicians gather to perform in various forms such as concertos and monologues, the masterpieces of film music will be re-experienced, and the melodies that have been familiar to us will feel even broader and richer than before.
