A one-time performance only at JIMFF2020 Jecheon International Music & Film Festival!

On a midsummer night, the signature event of the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival, ‘One Summer Night,’ which has been held by the beautiful Cheongpung Lake in Jecheon, will take place this year in a slightly different way. Reflecting the cautious social atmosphere due to COVID-19, the outdoor performance is replaced with a ‘Re, Green Concert - Super Session 17ers,’ a non-face-to-face concert.

For those who particularly love and have been waiting for ‘One Summer Night,’ there’s no need to feel disappointed. For the newly reimagined Super Session concert, Korea’s best real-play musicians such as Lee Tae-yoon, Kim Tae-won, and Kim Hyun-cheol have joined together. The ‘Best of the Best’ OST, selected by 17 legendary musicians, will be a great gift for music fans who have been longing for both music and performances, bringing immense joy.

‘Re, Green Concert - Super Session 17ers’ will be available on August 23 (Sunday) through Chungbuk MBC.

  • Music director. Korea’s top bass guitarist. He co-founded the band ‘Boohwal’ with Kim Tae-won and later played as the bassist for ‘Songgolmae.’ He has participated as a session bassist for over 20,000 songs and has been active for 27 years with ‘Cho Yong-pil and The Great Birth.’ The tagline "Soul-stirring bassist" is not unfamiliar to him. After serving as a professor at Pyeongtaek University, he is currently a visiting professor at Hanyang University and is loved by YouTubers through ‘Lee Tae-yoon’s Basic Bass’ while enjoying a successful career as a performance, broadcast recording session musician.

  • Saxophone soloist. President of the Korean Saxophone Association and re-elected president of the Korean Music Performance Association (KMPA). He worked for the MBC Orchestra for 20 years and has participated in over 150,000 tracks. He received a special award at the MBC Year-End Awards in 1991 and the Minister of Culture and Sports Award in 2011.

  • Korea's first-generation guitarist. A top guitarist that renowned musicians such as Cho Yong-pil, Jeon In-kwon, and Shin Seung-hoon desire to work with. He has also won the first Korean Popular Culture and Arts Award for his experimental music spirit. He has consistently released solo albums and is striving to create his own musical world through new attempts.

  • Kim Tae-won
  • Leader of the band ‘Boohwal,’ guitarist, producer, lyricist, and composer. One of the three major guitarists of 1980s Korea, he became a major figure in rock history. He has explored all genres of music with guitar, creating numerous classic songs such as ‘Heeya,’ ‘The Story of Rain and You,’ and ‘Never Ending Story.’

  • Kim Hyun-cheol
  • Since his debut, he has been a singer-songwriter who produces his entire album, writing lyrics and composing songs. He was called a genius musician leading the popular music scene. He won the Best Film Music Award for the movie Blue Inside and has firmly established his position as a film music composer. He is currently active as a singer with 10 albums, music director, and music program panelist.
