Synopsis

Two young Cuban musicians, Ruy and Tito share the same dream to become famous and finally leave Habana. Ruy lives with Caridad and their two children; Tito is on his own living with his grandmother. While in rehearsals for their first big concert, they learn that two Spanish producers Martha and Lorenzo are in Cuba looking for new talents. Facing what might be the chance of a lifetime, they will have to conquer“ the Spanish”.

Born in 1965 in Lebrija, Spain. After studying film at the International Film School of San Antonio de los Baños in Cuba, he worked on short films and feature-length screenplays. His feature debut, , won the FIPRESCI Prize and Panorama Audience Award at the 1999 Berlin International Film Festival, as well as the FIPRESCI Prize at the 2000 Brussels International Film Festival, among many others at festivals in Havana and Spain. is his second feature film.
