Synopsis

The Golden Age of Film Music is about the original soundtracks that have contributed to films to be engraved on the public consciousness. Why are these soundtracks, true films for our ears, still so potently evocative? To find answers to these questions we meet four fabulous composers, Lalo Schifrin, Quincy Jones, John Barry and Michel Legrand. We also come across contemporary musicians, David Holmes, Air, and Mike Patton, whose work is strongly inspired by this musical movement born in the sixties. A real road movie at the essence of music and image from 1965 to 1975 pays an aesthetic tribute to these great musicians.
