Synopsis

[Giselle], the most well-known Romantic ballet, composed by the French composer Adolfe Adam, was premiered in 1841. A village girl Giselle falls in love with Albrecht, disguised as a young country man. Giselle figures out that his fiancée is a princess, then she becomes insane and kills herself. Giselle becomes a fairy that makes young people who come to the forest at night dance until they die. Albrecht visits Giselle’s grave and is captured by fairies. Giselle still loves him, and she does her best to protect him.

  • After graduating from Inha University with a degree in electrical engineering, Kim Soo-ki directed programs such as Ask Anything and This is the TV Information Center at KBS. He also directed numerous documentaries and promotional videos. Following his 2014 production of Giselle, he created Dance Speaks in 2015.
