Synopsis

Ardeshir suffers from lung cancer and has only six months to live. Ardeshir's son, Satyar, is a musician and collects his father's money from debtors in an unusual way. Visiting the debtors one by one, he goes through a journey that unveils one’s life, relationships, and how music works to them. The film brings up the fragments of life such as greed, loss, love, and connection onto the surface and invites us to see them in a different way.

  • Kaveh Moeinparvar
  • Born in 1974, Kaveh Moeinparvar is an Iranian director and writer. He began his career in the film industry collaborating with famous Iranian directors like Bahman Ghobadi and Mohsen Makhmalbaf. He worked as the assistant director for Afghan filmmaker Sedigheh Barmaque, winner of a Golden Globe, from 1998 to 2005. Another Life is his feature directorial debut.
