Program Note

Radio Days is a film about the stories of people who wanted to make a radio drama in Korea's only radio station in the 1930s. PD Lloyd, having earned his post with the power of his father, forms the production team of radio drama “Flames of Love,” along with screenwriter Noh Bong-al. The drama captures the hearts of listeners with shocking sound effects, despite the team's discord and various accidents. The characters had lost their goals in the difficulties of the time, but find their way to go through the drama production. Between the delightful scenes of drama production, the rage and emptiness of that era are properly revealed. (SONG Kyeong-won)

  • 하기호 감독은 장편으로는 <라듸오 데이즈>가 첫 작품이지만 단편과 시나리오 작업으로 기본기가 다져진 준비된 감독이다. 그는 영상원 재학 시절 폰섹스에 관한 단편 <전화>(1998)와 몸에 대한 집착을 그린 <내 사랑 십자 드라이버>(2000)로 그 재능을 일찌감치 인정받은 기대주였다.
