A rap properly created isn’t so different from autobiographical poem. Rappers can rap out true lyrics, when they face their wounds and recognize themselves. Sunset in My Hometown is the story about Hak-soo, who is quite talented, but has been eliminated six times from the audition TV show [Show Me The Money]. He returns home receiving the news that his father passed out, and finally grows while facing his past black histories there. Actor Park Jeong-min practiced rap to play the role of an unknown rapper, and his performances and sincere lyrics move the audience. Blending in with the sunset scenery of Byeon-san region, the music by music director Bang Jun-Seok is even more moving. (SONG Kyeong-won)​
